
Online car-sharing platform BlaBlaCar has revolutionized the transportation industry, enabling millions of people to travel more easily, at lower cost, and with lower carbon emissions. Considered one of the flagships of the French tech ecosystem, BlaBlaCar now has 800 employees. Last year, BlaBlaCar chose moka.care to support the mental well-being of its teams, which include people of over 40 nationalities, in 6 offices worldwide.

In 2022, the company therefore chose moka.care to help it promote mental well-being among its employees.
When BlaBlaCar set out to find a preventive mental health solution, it had four main objectives in mind:
1. Responding to and supporting employees in the face of changes in the workplace - and in particular the isolation that some people may feel as a result of teleworking.
2. Support young parents at the turning point in their lives and careers represented by maternity or paternity leave.
3. Go beyond the logic of curation, of "repair", and really begin a preventive approach to mental well-being issues.
4. To be there for teams wherever they are in the world: in France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Ukraine or Brazil.

BlaBlaCar has also organized more targeted group sessions to support certain teams.
For example, the "Trust & Safety" team has to deal with delicate situations encountered by BlaBlaCar users on a daily basis. This team is, by its very nature, confronted with a high emotional load and people in distress. With moka.care, two workshops were offered to this team to help them better understand and deal with these situations.
This comprehensive support enables everyone to be trained and feel better at work and at home.
Although the partnership was launched just one year ago, feedback from the teams has been very positive, according to Perrine Labesse:
